- How are your thoughts, feelings and stories limiting or restricting you?
- Why and how are you placing conditions on your life and what’s possible for you?
These are important questions I pose to you.
To help you with this line of questioning, let me give you some real life and very common examples…..
For many years I used to say, “When I finish studying then I will be happy”!
Something else I used to think and say on the reg, “When I have completed everything on my list then I can really relax”.
Or “When I meet the love of my life than I will feel good enough and worthy”…
Does this ring any bells for you?
How crazy and warped is that really – to think that I can only be happy down the track once XYZ is completed. That I can only relax in the distance when I’ve ticked all the boxes and I am only good enough when another human chooses me and thereby deems me to be enough.
A common one that I often hear people say, “When I retire than I will feel freedom”.
Maybe, for you it’s when I have $100k in the bank, then I will feel successful and rich/abundant!
Then to continue this exercise, who came up with that logic, that figure or those conditions?
You? Your parents? Your teachers, bosses, colleagues or friends?
You are literally going about it completely the wrong way.
It’s not your fault – either you were not aware of this, or picked it up from those around you.
Firstly, you can choose to feel anything NOW, regardless of the milestones reached or $ amount attained.
In fact, the more you feel it now, the more you become magnetic to more “like” situations and experiences to allow you to continue to feel more of that.
Stop making your feelings and your enoughness conditional on your output/goal achievement.
Reclaim your power.
Feel your desired and maybe unconsciously conditional feeling state NOW.
Reclaim your ability to be more intentionally steering your life in the direction you actually desire.
