Our medical system is in serious trouble!
I’ve heard and seen so much about this but it’s when you experience it first hand, it hits a whole different level.
No wonder the hospitals are inundated with people that quite likely could be tended to by a GP! Most medical centres in one of our major cities, are closed on weekends & home Dr requires $230 before they even hold your appointment.
BTW – I’ve had health insurance my whole life! This is not a public vs private health system issue I’m raising.

This further solidifies yet again that you need to do everything in your power, which we do have a lot, to stay healthy.
What this looks like:
-More water less other beverages
-More veggies, less sugar
-More variety, less eating the same foods all the time which could lead to sensitivities and intolerances.
-No smoking – I mean common sense says no good can ever come from that.
-More nervous system regulation ie being stressed and in fight or flight mode, is survival mode- it is not healing, rest & digest state. Every illness and condition is exacerbated by stress.
-Prioritise sleep – you sleep better, you feel & look better. It’s when alot of cleansing & rejuvenation takes place
-Move every day – 10,000 steps minimum for most healthy adults
-Look at the quality of your thoughts. We have some 60,000, most are negative by nature and most are repetitive thoughts.
-Manage your weight – being overweight has been linked to heart disease and other conditions.
-Emotional health – research more & more is pointing to the role our suppressed emotions play in disease eg. Suppressed anger has been linked to everything from heart disease, to acne, to cancer. Great books on this: Yvette Rose, Metaphysical Anatomy, Louise Hay & Michael J Lincoln’s work. Even Dr Gabor Mate’s work.
-Look at your beliefs – do they serve you? Eg. It’s all downhill here from, it’s in the genes, you have to work really hard for money, I have to do it all on my own etc – rewire your subconscious for beliefs that feel better and serve you more.
-Learn how to muscle test- I use this with myself and often clients as do many other practitioners- gives incredible holistic insights
-Stay on top of health screenings eg. Pap smears – a routine pap smear, which was not overdue by the way, has picked up very high grade cell changes- so I’m working with that with a gyno, plus clinically trialled mushroom extract, plus working through all past emotions and traumas to do with being a female, feeling taken advantage of etc.
-Strengthen your intuition and your relationship with yourself and your body – what feels true, what feels out of alignment
-Strengthen your faith – whether it be God or whoever you follow
Of course leverage the best of science, the great advancements in the medical world, I certainly do, but never discount just how much you can do.
